Job Summary: Responsible to lead the production and technical team to ensure that the manufacturing of
products starts and finishes on time and within budget, while leading, promoting and facilitating improvement
activities within production processes that include safety of the employees, quality of the product, cost
savings. Play a key leadership role on the production team in a culture that enables employees to perform to
the best of their abilities in accordance with company objectives while driving metrics for safety, quality,
efficiency, and cost to meet the overall company goals.
Work Experience:
5+ years in plant operations management with P&L experience (prefer plastic injection molding)
Hands-on leadership with strong interpersonal skills and desire for continuous improvements
Essential Job Duties:
• Follows safety regulations and ensures the staff adheres to applicable rules and regulations.
• Daily production and technical operations including maintenance of equipment.
• Track and improve production metrics.
• Participate in the P&L meetings.
• Maintain positive relationships with diverse staff across all areas of the company.
• Administration of staff including coaching, training and personnel issues.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Experience and/or training in management, engineering or related field equaling 5+ years
• Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills
• Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office in business environment
• Team player & Strong leadership skills
• History of progressive responsibility preferred
